Yes, it's a thing. Chicken and donuts. And aside from our bias, it's an absolutely delicious combination despite not being so obvious at first. Especially the way Welcome Chicken and Donuts do it. So we knew it would be fitting as the very first episode as we hoped to capture the uniqueness of the stories we want to tell. Phoenicians + Food. Like chicken and donuts, it's an obvious combination once you've arrived at that occurrence. Yet few have ventured to tell the stories in this way. And that unique storytelling for our first episode wouldn't be complete without a personality to match. Someone who embodied the current climate of our city and its burgeoning allure as the next great destination for entrepreneurial innovation in the wild west. Enter Jonathan Cottrell. An individual whose motto is literally serving entrepreneurs and the community in love. And a person that can be found at or near the center of all major happens that are pushing our city forward. Our city needs more people like him. People who are passionate about building up Phoenix and are actively involved in that process. And as Phoenix continues to mature, we hope to continue capturing the essence of what and who is shaping our present and future. The obvious combinations that seem unlikely at first.
